I especially liked that there is little positive correlation with prices. Oil production didn't increase in 07/08 when gas prices and oil prices were ending the modern way of life. Real inelastic supply.

There is a lot of information and links from this site how much we produced in 83 compared to today and see the times that production dropped off sharply and match them to price jumps it is very obvious.
